Elimino Card Game

Very enjoyable game. I will be buying more games for Christmas presents, and suggesting the local game stores stock it as well.

Very similar to my young grandkids’ favorite card game TRASH / GARBAGE, but a big improvement.

One granddaughter taught GARBAGE to us when she was 4 years old, after learning it in preschool.

This game takes the same idea and gives it a better goal and a few more interesting choices.

Almost all luck, but very quick, easy and interactive as players keep stealing from each other.

We did add one house rule - as players ALL cycle from 8 cards to 7 cards to 6 cards and so on, we removed the unneeded cards from the deck. So, for example, when everyone is at 7 or lower, we remove all 8’s.

Otherwise by the time players are all down to 4 cards or less, more than half the cards are totally unusable, and the game drags on. And if you are playing all the way from 8 cards to no cards, the last thing you need is for the game to drag.

All in all, a nice creative improvement on an old classic kid’s card game.

We use to play Uno with our grandkids all the time, and now Elimino is our new favorite game. It is a lot of fun for all ages, from the grandparents to the kids!
We have are going to buy more for Christmas gifts! It’s a gift we know everyone will enjoy!

Love the simplicity of this game although don’t let that fool you as it’s complex enough with the luck of the draw that you are on the edge of your seat for each round!
